Two stone rings started gaining more momentum in 2020 and will become even more prevalent in the engagement world this year. The trend did so well as fashion pieces alone, so we can anticipate a more elevated version coming into play in 2021. However, bigger isn't always better in regard to this style. My advice for shopping two stone rings is to pay attention to stone size - if the stones are too big, it can take away from the design and doesn't allow for much appreciation of each individual stone.
Wide band rings are definitely going to be one of the biggest trends in 2021. Whether it's a wide band with an offset stone, a center stone burnish-set, or a removable jacket, the metal-heavy look is in and wide bands are the best way to do it.
Avant-garde solitaires are perfect for someone who wants something unique but are afraid they will tire of a ring that is too trendy or eccentric. As long as you invest in a classic shape, you can always change the setting later on.
UNIQUE STONE SHAPES
For the people that want something that no one else has, this is the trend for you. With lab-grown diamonds growing in popularity, the variety of stone shapes are endless. From Luckies to Kites, no stone shape is off the table.
This 90's trend is making a huge comeback in 2021. These rings feature a large center stone nestled between two smaller stones. This design allows the ring to cover more surface area making diamonds wrap around the finger more.
