HI AGAIN & WELCOME TO ANOTHER X SAID /X SAID LOVE STORY. WHEN WE STARTED THIS SERIES ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS TO US WAS HONORING ALL WALKS OF LOVE — COVERING ALL KINDS OF RELATIONSHIPS AND HIGHLIGHTING ALL OF THE ROMANTIC, QUIRKY, AND FUNNY MOMENTS THAT COME WITH THEM. 

THIS WEEK WE HAD THE PLEASURE OF HEARING ALL OF THE JUICY DETAILS OF JATIN AND JENNIFER'S RELATIONSHIP; FROM THE FIRST TIME THEY MET TO THE PROPOSAL. AS ALWAYS, WE HAVE ASKED OUR COUPLE TO ANSWER SOME QUESTIONS AND NEITHER HAS SEEN THE OTHER'S ANSWERS...UNTIL NOW.

33 months... almost 3 years

I think I asked if she wanted to grab a drink or something
Where was your first date?
Riverside Liquors, it's a boutique retail space with a bar/restaurant in the historic area of Jax that we live in, really good cocktails and small bites.
When did you first realize you loved Jennifer?
It's hard to pinpoint when I first knew. I know I had strong feelings about her early on in our dating. I think it really hit when we took our first trip to Savannah, Georgia.
How did you purpose?
After a day of adventuring doing random things together, we ended up in St. Augustine for dinner at one of Jenn's favorite places. Took a long walk back to the car through the downtown area and along the water, stopped and sat on a bench and we just kind of shared a moment, I remember her head was on my shoulder. Pulled the ring out of my jacket pocket and got down on one knee. There were fireworks in the distance, I had no part in making that happen but I will take the credit!
Do you see children in the future? How many if so?
I'd like to have 1
What is your favorite thing about Jennifer?
Jennifer has an energy about her, she feels things deeply and wants to express so much but gets overwhelmed. I love how deeply she cares for things, for people, for memories, for creating new experiences, for sharing what she knows, for learning more.
What is Jennifer's biggest quirk?
Not sure if this qualifies but Jenn loves rocks, and I don't mean diamonds (but she likes those too).
Does Jennifer have any hidden talents (or hobbies / interests) we should know about?
She has so many! She's so creative and doesn't really give herself enough credit... creating video montages, doing decoupage on old furniture, making a custom board game for my birthday about me!
You guys seem to travel a lot - what is the one place you recommend everyone to visit in their lifetime?
This is a tough one... I'd say in general everyone should spend time in another country, whether it's living elsewhere like Jennifer had the opportunity to do in Spain for a few years or going on an extended trip like I've done a few times to India. Take the opportunity to see how other people live, get out of your comfort level, try new things, learn a new type of appreciation for things you take for granted everyday. It should be a college requirement or something to do so!

I had met him in passing years prior and we have a lot of mutual friends, but ultimately, we started talking online and then met up for drinks. 
How long have you been together? 
Nearly three years
Who asked who out and how? 
I think we just mutually agreed to go on a date.
Where was your first date? 
We met up at a cocktail bar in the neighborhood and then walked a bit.
When did you first know you loved Jatin? 
I’ve never had a defining moment like that; the feeling just gradually presents itself. I remember texting him several months in and saying something like “Hey, I’ve been wanting to tell you that I love you.” 
There was a cute moment early on, though: exactly a month after we met, he had flowers delivered to my classroom at the high school where I taught at the time. That was around the same time he turned on his read receipts. Both of those gestures were pretty smooth. 
How did Jatin propose? 
We were walking by the river in St. Augustine after dinner one night, just talking about whatever. He suggested we stop to sit for a minute and then pulled the ring out of his raincoat and got down on one knee. I really love that it was in his raincoat. It was the faux ring. Then we drove to his office where he had been keeping the real one. The first song I played when we got in the car was “You’re My Best Friend” by Queen. 
Do you see children in the future / how many if so? 
I don’t know.
What is your favorite thing about Jatin? 
His enthusiasm.
What is Jatin's biggest quirk?
I like that he has this big beautiful hamsa tattooed on his arm, and then Blinky—the three-eyed fish from the nuclear power plant on The Simpsons—on his side. And so on.
Does Jatin have any hidden talents (or hobbies / interests) we should know about? 
He can do an excellent high kick.
You guys seem to travel a lot - what is the one place you recommend everyone to visit in their lifetime? 
That’s tough to say, but the best trip we’ve taken together has been to Mexico City.
