The Le Corbusier Capsule captures the architect's artistic journey in post-colonial India, where a newly independent nation sought to redefine itself through modern, democratic architecture. Collaborations with visionaries like Le Corbusier, Louis Kahn, and a young Balkrishna Doshi birthed a poetic Indo-Western style that became the cornerstone of India’s architectural identity.
In Chandigarh, Le Corbusier, guided by Balkrishna Doshi’s deep understanding of Indian culture and climate, married modernist concrete and clean lines with the natural integration of gardens and water features, together forming a balance of form and soul.
The Le Corbusier Cigar Band features a continuous line of puff bezel-set baguette diamonds on a deep domed 7mm band, merging modernist precision with the organic elegance of Chandigarh.
