Wiskup X Shahla Entropy Collection
Evan Wiskup is a New York-based architect and developer. Before establishing Wiskup Architecture and Wiskup Projects, Evan worked with the Office of Metropolitan Architecture (OMA), Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), and Alloy Development. Evan’s architectural style is characterized by impact minimalism, easily identifiable by his use of clean lines, geometric forms, and a strategic use of light and space.
There is a quiet tension in his work, where the curation of place and time are subtly embraced with both clarity and complexity, enriching the experience of the architecture he creates and drawing out a deeper, more compelling visual dialogue. Whether working on residential, mixed-use, or public projects, Evan’s work integrates sophisticated materials and urbanistic forms, with an emphasis on sustainability and humanistic design.
Shahla and Evan’s paths first crossed in 2022 during the design of an engagement ring for his wife, Brittany. The collaboration quickly transformed into a dynamic partnership, one that defied conventional expectations of what an engagement ring could be, his influence sparking a movement in artistic expression that continues to redefine her work.
The Wiskup X Shahla Entropy Collection is a 6-part capsule. Inspired by traditional notions of the interplay of ‘figure’ and ‘ground,’ this collection juxtaposes bold, figural stones with an understated, banded base. Each piece reflects the architectural rhythm of cities and the natural flow of entropy through thoughtfully crafted forms.
